This
photo of Vickers 816 Viscount VH-TVQ McDouall Stuart was taken
from the TAA car park circa 1967 looking north towards the control tower
in the background. This photo was chosen because it illustrates the
palm trees which were a feature of the airport in those days. The photo
will also serve to remind future generations of a time when Australia
could build motor cars! The lineup of Holdens are believed to be (left
to right) EJ station wagon, EK sedan, FE/FB/EK utility and EJ sedan.
